Music...

This music, a blend of Carnatic and Hindustani classical notes is based on Desh ragam and Shanmugapriya Thiru pugazh. It's supposed to soothe the soul. After listening to it twice, the song embraces in a long, warm hug and then that's all there is. Music. Everything else fades away. That's how AR Rahman's songs works. The first time it sounds ordinary, the second time makes you curious, and soon after you find yourself addicted. The song resonates with the notes of the soul and uncovers the divine. Orgasmic!

Waiting for AR Rahman to win his next Oscar for music! The man is a saint!!

I love the song visuals as well. Young people in the beginning throes of love where they enjoy that thin veil between friendship and romance, the casual manner with which they stop at a random house in a village to ask for a place to stay over, co-sleep with them only to acknowledge that this can't happen in a city, and the sheer thrill of a road trip. Beautiful! After hitting middle age, the next best option is living vicariously through these visuals. On loop today!
