His plastic surgeries made him look like a ghost. His interviews sounded like he was spaced out. He walked in a different world that we couldn’t touch. I realized that MJ’s power was in breaking away from the limitations of the world and not in fitting in. To me MJ was more of a spirit than a human. He was a spirit that was uncomfortable in this world, uncomfortable about the rules and norms and the limitations. He dared to create his own world and he scaled new heights by doing so.
